A guide to Web3 architecture
The current internet is very centralised and creates challenges such as data breaches and vendor lock-ins. Web3 is a read-write-own development of the world wide web that increases data safety and provides fail-resistant services, removing power from central intermediaries. It also promises a more immersive experience for users. Before we look further at Web3, let us first reconfirm what Web 1 and Web 2 are:
· Web1: the internet of information - HTML websites you cannot interact with
· Web2: the internet of interactions - Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc., that allow you to be connected end-to-end with others
· Web3: the new internet of value - centralisation of information is removed.
