Cryptocurrencies are notoriously volatile with prices changing significantly, even in minutes. Investors can trade cryptocurrencies from anywhere in the world, 24/7, and have a choice of over 22,000 to select from that are being traded on over 1,500 different exchanges. All of these things combined make it harder for an individual to select a cryptocurrency, let alone track and effectively manage a portfolio on an on-going basis. Firstly, investors often cannot respond quickly enough to the changes in price to make the best deals that are technically available. Secondly, buyers cannot physically monitor all the different exchanges and be aware of the levels of liquidity that each offers in order to make the best trades.
