Consider a world where time, your most valuable asset, can be used like money. Imagine exchanging digital tokens for your talents, labour and service hours without banks or intermediaries. This vision has become reality. Blockchain and time-tokenisation could change economic engagement in rural areas across the world - they could create new prosperity by valuing their time and abilities. Globally, rural communities often struggle with limited access to banks or formal financial services, frequent cash shortages and unstable local currencies. Indeed, according to the World Bank, there are over 1.4billion people (many in rural areas) who are unbanked - yet 60% of the unbanked have access to the internet.
