Web3 super apps: the end of single function dApps
Web3 is moving from fragmentation to integration. In the early days, users were required to juggle separate apps for trading, lending, portfolio tracking and community, constantly reconnecting wallets and paying gas as they moved between interfaces. That friction made blockchain feel powerful but impractical for mainstream users. The next phase is the Web3 super applications: a single interface that brings together wallet infrastructure, trading, lending, social features, commerce and, increasingly, AI automation. As the ecosystem matures, integrated platforms are becoming the default experience rather than a niche convenience. The commercial logic is clear: if users can manage assets, interact socially and execute transactions in one place, adoption becomes far easier and retention becomes much stronger.
