Brilliant framing of the lawyer-as-oracle role. The digital estate example is particulary sharp - verification of death and probate aren't formalities but foundational trust anchors smart contracts can't replicate. I've seen automated systems stall on edge cases requring judgment about intent or fairness. The subscription model makes alot of sense economically, but dunno if firms are ready to pivot from billable hours to ongoing oversight.
